Around Subic Bay FEATURED In the Navy US Navy Combat Ship in Subic June 3, 2022August 8, 2022 Vic Vizcocho SBMA, Subic Bay Freeport, US Navy The USS Jackson (LCS-6), an Independence-class littoral combat ship of the United States Navy passes by the Philippine Flag in front of the Administration building of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) on its way to Rivera Pier in the Subic Bay Freeport yesterday. USS Jackson has a 40 core crew of 8 officers and 32 enlisted men and can accommodate up to 35 mission crew . Equipped with an 11 cell missile launchers, four .50 cal. guns and a BAE Systems Mk 110 57mm gun, the ship also has 2 Seahawk Helicopters and an MQ-8 Fire Scout, unmanned autonomous helicopter.
