The USS Jackson (LCS-6), an Independence-class littoral combat ship of the United States Navy passes by the Philippine Flag in front of the Administration building of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) on its way to Rivera Pier in the Subic Bay Freeport yesterday. USS Jackson has a 40 core crew of 8 officers and 32 enlisted men and can accommodate up to 35 mission crew . Equipped with an 11 cell missile launchers, four .50 cal. guns and a BAE Systems Mk 110 57mm gun, the ship also has 2 Seahawk Helicopters and an MQ-8 Fire Scout, unmanned autonomous helicopter. Needs additional lights on main street, like in Binictican it’s too dark during the night.
