Christmas is a time for sharing and gift giving. And so the Tollways Management Corporation (TMC) operator of the North Luzon Expressway and the Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway wants to keep this Christmas spirit alive by offering gifts to its communities. Many of these gifts come from the donations of the volunteer themselves.
This December TMC volunteer employees visited two of the biggest Aeta communities in Central Luzon. On December 12 they went to our Aeta brothers and sisters at the Pastolan Village in the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority or SBMA. There TMC distributed gifts and held a Christmas party for everyone. A week after, TMC volunteers celebrated Christmas with another Aeta community. This time the volunteers went to Villa Maria in Porac, Pampanga.
These barangays are two of TMC’s partner communities in NLEX and SCTEX. TMC hopes that activities like these would instill in everyone the value of giving. It should be the kind of giving that would make each person feel that he is loved…Christmas or not
