In pursuit of broader expansion and growth strategies, The Medical City is set to open the Medical City Clark (TMC Clark) to patients in Central Luzon.

Once completed and operational, TMC Clark is expected to have a significant socioeconomic impact in the region, including the creation of jobs and the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to the residents of Pampanga and neighboring provinces.

The hospital is expected to have a 300-strong medical staff complemented by a 150 member workforce.

TMC-Clark is the first component of a larger health care complex at the Global Gateway Logistics City (GGLC), a 177-hectare master planned logistics and business center inside the Clark aviation complex which will house new infrastructure amounting to over $1.5 billion.

It has a full complement of top quality diagnostic and treatment services, drawing from the strengths of institutional centers of excellence. It will also be the official medical facility and trauma/burn center of Clark International Airport.

Situated next to an international airport, TMC Clark provides an excellent platform for building international customer base.

“The hospital is at the forefront of cardiac and cancer care and Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) and provides an urgent care center, intensive care unit, medical/surgical care, obstetrics and gynecology unit, pediatrics and pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care, ophthalmology and ENT Clinics in addition to comprehensive diagnostic services using some of the latest technology.” says Dr. Cenon R. Alfonso, an experienced surgeon and Chief Executive Officer of TMC Clark.

In addition, TMC Clark has an extensive list of board certified physicians in a variety of specialties and subspecialties.

To complement TMC-Clark’s services, TMC also acquired earlier this year ARDI Healthcare Center located at Bertaphil Compound III in Clarkfield and has been renamed TMC Ambulatory Center (TMC-AC)

TMC-AC offers a wide range of laboratory, imaging cardiovascular and other diagnostic services, as well as examinations, consultations and surgical and non-surgical procedures by medical specialists and subspecialists.

With the addition of the Clark site to TMC’s growing network of health facilities, TMC strengthens its serious bid for prominence in national and international healthcare.

Dr. Alfonso recently led the side tour and for the facility of more than 200 individuals made up of physicians and other ancillary healthcare professionals to discuss the hospital’s status update and strategy in delivering quality health care to the patients in Central Luzon.

“All our activities are geared towards preparing for the opening of TMC-Clark – recruiting doctors, hospital staff, training and building relationship with the provinces that we will serve.” says Dr. Alfonso.

He also welcomed the news that Clark Pampanga is one of the potential host sites for the Asia Pacific Economic Conference (APEC) summit to be held in the country next year, TMC Clark is expected to be fully operational by that time.
