OFW One-Stop Processing Center in Clark

CLARK FREEPORT ZONE — A one-stop processing center near the Clark International Airport that would cater to the needs of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) shall formally open this Friday, September 16.

“The new facility, which is located at Clark Polytechnic, will house 16 government agencies. This is in line with President Rodrigo Duterte’s promise during his first State of the Nation Address to streamline government processes particularly for OFWs,” Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) said in a statement.

Among the agencies that shall render their services here include Bureau of Immigration, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Pag-Ibig Fund, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Department of Labor and Employment, Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Also, Philippine Statistics Authority, Professional Regulation Commission, Department of Education, Commission on Higher Education, Social Security System (SSS), Maritime Industry Authority, Commission on Filipinos Overseas, and Bayad Center.

“Among those that can be availed in the center include processing of Overseas Employment Certificate, NBI clearances, payment of PhilHealth premiums, SSS registration and membership data amendment including acceptance of loans and benefits claim applications, processing of birth and marriage certificates, issuance and revalidation of Seaman’s book, issuance of professional licenses, and issuance of TESDA training certifications and applications for scholarships,” CIAC added.
