Being a far-lung remote area of Sta. Cruz, Zambales did not deter Gov. Hermogenes “Jun” Ebdane from visiting Bgy. Tubo-Tubo North where he wants residents to have easier access to the town center, the market and govt. services by ensuring that roads are in place and passable under any weather condition. “When people can’t go to the town hall or the capitol to avail of govt. services, we bring the services to them in their own barangay, regardless of distance nor conditions,” Ebdane said. During the visit, Ebdane also encouraged Tubo-Tubo North residents to produce products that they can sell to fellow Zambalenos and visitors alike. Gov. Ebdane, along with Provincial Engineer Domeng Mariano and other officials, walked through rugged, in parts muddy, unpaved roads to inspect and see first hand and address the plight and conditions of his constituents. All year round, the governor has been conducting inspections in various parts of Zambales, from Sta. Cruz to Subic town, especially in remote areas, to bring basic services, including health, to those who are disadvantaged by their economic status.
