Fuel your Ride, Recharge your E-Vehicle at SM

SM Olongapo malls have launched their first in-mall E-vehicle charging stations in Olongapo City. SM City Olongapo Central and SM City Olongapo Downtown officially opened their E-vehicle charging stations on February 22, 2024.
These charging stations are a result of SM Spermalls’ partnership with the Department of Energy, Department of Transportation, and the Department of Trade and Industry to accelerate the government’s renewable energy and sustainability initiatives.
Aside from this, the free EV charging stations further advances the Zero Emissions agenda of SM to increase the use of renewable energy to 50% across all of its business segments, ahead of the national goal to be 35% renewable by 2030.
Olongapo City Mayor Rolen C. Paulino, Jr. was delighted and thankful to spearhead the launching of the first EV Charging stations in the city, recognizing its significant impact on environmental protection and extending gratitude to SM for taking such initiative.
The charging station is open from 10 am to 9 pm daily. And the good news is, charging your e-Vehicle at SM is FREE! Just head straight to Ground Level Parking of SM City Olongapo Central and Level 5 Parking of SM City Olongapo Downtown to get your car battery fully charged. And while you wait, you can shop, dine, and be entertained at SM City Olongapo Central and SM City Olongapo Downtown.
Travel conveniently and worry-free on your E-vehicle. Park, pop, and plug your E-vehicle easily at SM City Olongapo Central and SM City Olongapo Downtown’s 7.4kW AC chargers and a 5m integrated charging cable. It is compatible with all Type 2 electric cars.
SM Supermalls is the first mall chain to establish in-mall E-vehicle charging sites in the Philippines and has created the PH’s biggest chain of e-Vehicle charging stations nationwide. By expanding infrastructure for EV owners, SM Supermalls is able to advance its Zero Emissions agenda, helping decrease carbon footprint while addressing air pollution concerns all over the country.
