DOLE calls for more productivity, good work ethics amid the pandemic

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) urged jobseekers, workers and employers in Central Luzon to increase their productivity, and maintain good work ethics amid the pandemic.
Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board Central Luzon Chairperson and DOLE Regional Director Geraldine Panlilio highlighted that a productive workforce would contribute to the success, and the attainment of organizational targets.
“Good work ethics is very important for the company to achieve the level of productivity it needs to be successful,” she stressed during the launching of the 2021 Regional Productivity Olympics cum virtual webinar on work ethics and productivity.
Also, Panlilio advised jobseekers and employees to maintain a positive attitude and be more proactive in the workplace.
Meanwhile, employers were encouraged to develop a corporate culture that embraces good work ethics and fosters productivity to be an avenue of growth and development for their employees.
“If we improve and develop ourselves, there is no reason for us not to bounce back better for a better Philippines,” she furthered.
