COMELEC opens voter registration for Barangay and SK Polls at SM Malls

SM Supermalls and Commission on Elections (COMELEC) have once again teamed up to provide voters with more registration venues at SM for 2023 Barangay and SK Elections. COMELEC has opened satellite registration centers in selected SM Malls nationwide. This gives the public a safer, more convenient option, faster and safer way to exercise their right to vote.
List of voter registration center at SM Central Luzon malls:
SM City Olongapo Central- January 12, 16-20, 2023(Ground level, infront of Goldilocks Bakeshop)

SM City Pampanga- January 9-14, 2023

SM City Clark- January 13-14 (for Angeles only), January 23-31(for Mabalacat only)

SM City Tarlac -January 12, 2023

SM City Cabanatuan- January 23-24, 2023

SM City San Fernando Downtown- January 11-14, 2023

SM City Telabastagan-January 4-7, 2023
For Register Anywhere Project (RAP) from December 17, 2022 to January 25, 2023, meanwhile, the poll body earlier named five malls in Metro Manila as venues. These are Mall of Asia, SM Fairview, SM South Mall, Robinsons Galleria, and Robinsons Place Manila.
More malls were later added for the RAP — Robinson’s Mall Tacloban, Barangay Baras Baras, Tacloban City; SM City Legazpi, Imelda Roces Avenue, Zone 9, Barangay 37 Bitano, Legazpi City, Albay; and Robinson’s Mall Naga, Naga City, Camarines Sur.
Aside from registration, voters can also apply for transfer of voter registration records, reactivation of voting status, and correction or change of entries in the voter registration record.
Aside from SM Malls, registrants may go to the office of the election officer or satellite registration sites in their areas from Monday to Saturday, including holidays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The BSKE was supposed to be held in December 2022 but was moved to October 2023.
