6,523 careers up for grabs in DOLE Labor Day virtual job fair in CL

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga– About 6,523 careers will be up for grabs during the 2021 Labor Day virtual job fair of Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in Central Luzon.
Job vacancies include cost accountant, R&D specialist, sales representatives, technicians, nurses, and helpers
“With more than 6,000 job vacancies from 51 participating companies in Region 3, this just goes to say that there are still some who need workers, and we would like to bridge you to these employers,” DOLE Regional Director Geraldine Panlilio said.
Dubbed as the Expanded 2021 Labor Day Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan Virtual Job and Business Fair, the first region-wide virtual job fair in Central Luzon is hosted by Vantagehunt, an employment solution platform for both jobseekers and employers.
Jobseekers may pre-register their account through vantagehunt.com to join the job fair on May 1.
Meanwhile, employers may sign up through vantagehunt.com and choose the “I’m an employer” option. They may also coordinate with the nearest DOLE Field Office or Public Employment Service Offices in local government units.
“To all jobseekers, let us take this as an opportunity to connect and have an interview with your prospective employers. You can be one of workers who are hired on the spot even at the comfort of your own homes,” Panlilio furthered.
This year’s job fair carries the theme, “Mayo Uno sa Bagong Panahon— Manggagawa at Mamamayan Babangon, Susulong!” (PIA 3)
