Provincial health officer Joy Gomez said five of the eight PUIs in the province have already tested negative of the highly contagious coronavirus while the three others were isolated in a hospital pending the results of their laboratory tests.
“The results of the laboratory test for three PUIs will be released on Thursday. The three patients were isolated already for the past two days,” she said in an interview.
Gomez also confirmed that the three PUIs came from China.

He asked his constituents to be vigilant and discerning in receiving and disseminating information in order to prevent the spread of fake news.
Fernando also reminded the Bulakenyos of the preventive measures such as frequent and proper handwashing, proper cough etiquette, avoiding unprotected contact with farm or wild animals, ensuring that food is well-cooked, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to mount up immunity.
